Hello readers,
Welcome.
My passion for cooking originates from my love of eating.
As a child, my mother would prepare most everything from scratch. She has a unique ability to dream up a feast and make it happen. She can taste her meals before she makes them and uses her daydreams as a blue print in the kitchen. Little by little, I find myself with similar abilities which I enjoy and cultivate every day.
For the last three years I suffered from gastrointestinal problems-you name it I had it. I blamed it on my travels. For my honeymoon, my husband and I flew to Machu Picchu and soon after left for Spain. In our two years of living in Spain, we traveled to Morocco, Portugal, Greece, Holland and extensively through Spain. When we left Spain we went straight to Ecuador to visit my massive family there. I thought that I must just have a weak stomach.
But that has changed.
In January, I decided to test myself for a gluten intolerance by completely cutting it out. Now I notice a complete change in the way my belly and body treats me.
If you notice any aversion from eating gluten or fell light symptoms of gluten intolerance (http://mayoclinic.com/health/celiac-disease/DS00319/DSECTION=symptoms) then join me while I create gluten free vegetarian deliciousness featuring a new vegetable weekly for every recipe.
Sarah!
